One thing my heart had to deal with this week is that we dropped Reed off at a brand new day care. We are super excited about this arrangement, it met all of our criteria. But there is nothing that makes it easier to drop your kid off with a relative stranger and drive away. It's hard and it breaks my heart!
Here is a new activity that Reed has started. He goes into one of the kitchen cabinets and gets these two plastic bowls, flips them upside down, then pushes them around the floor. It's amazing how much dog hair he picks up. If only I could get him to push around dusting rags...
We took Reed to the fountain at the Gateway in Salt Lake on Sunday. This is a famed fountain (if you aren't from the Salt Lake area) that has a whole show and water spraying everywhere. He was not really a huge fan, we think he was scared of the randomness of the water squirting. He had fun just walking around and watching the other kids.
We went to the Tour of Utah and Reed had a good old time watching the racers. Well, not really he didn't really care much but he was a trooper and enjoyed all the toys he got (red "balloon", which was really a noise maker, a cow bell, and lots of rocks on the ground).
Oh yeah, a bike race happened too, but those pictures aren't nearly as cute or interesting as little Reed! Funny story though, Fogg was holding Reed and ran up to one of the riders who was struggling up this brutal hill and said "baby says go fast!" and the rider looked over at Fogg and laughed. Riders typically don't respond to spectators.
Cheers~
