The day we brought Nora home, Fogg took Reed down to Salt Lake City to an event called "Touch a Truck". It's basically a parking lot full of trucks, tractors and large machinery for kids to climb on and honk the horn and pretend to drive. Fogg said that Reed fell asleep in the car and when they got there, Reed saw all the trucks and said "whoa!".
We went for a hike at Snowbasin on Friday. It was more of a walk but it was beautiful to get outside, see the changing leaves and breath fresh air. We ran into some friends and generally enjoyed an hour or so outside. Reed had a good time finding rocks to throw.
Saturday, we went to a place called Black Island Farms. It was the whole "autumn/harvest" thing - you know, hayrides, pig races, pumpkin patches. Here are a few pictures from our day.
And of course, we are just getting to know our little Nora. She is a very good baby so far, we are still working on the schedule and night times but mostly she does great and doesn't cry much. At her one week appointment which was a few days earlier than that, she was already back up to her birth weight and looking great!
